Analysis Group Assesses Survey Data for Report on Smoking and Vaping in Quebec

May 10, 2023

In response to the legalization and over-the-counter commercialization of nicotine vaping products in Canada, the Quebec Coalition for Tobacco Control (CQCT) issued a report on tobacco smoking and vaping in Quebec. The report was based on a Canadian Community Health Survey of 7,350 Quebec residents. Data from the survey was collected by Statistics Canada.

An Analysis Group team, led by Managing Principal Lisa Pinheiro, Principal Jimmy Royer, and Associate Jean-Louis Barnwell, helped analyze and visualize the survey data, which the CQCT used to inform its conclusions regarding the marketing and consumption of e-cigarettes in Quebec.
