Analysis Group Senior Advisor Susan F. Tierney was invited to discuss how the decarbonization of the US economy can be accelerated on The Energy Transition Show podcast. Speaking with host Chris Nelder, Dr. Tierney explored the energy-related decarbonization strategies outlined in the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine report titled Accelerating Decarbonization in the United States: Technology, Policy, and Societal Dimensions, which she coauthored. She also described barriers to implementation and touched on policies and programs that are needed to keep the US on track to achieving net-zero emissions. Dr. Tierney highlighted the need for collaboration from a diverse group of industry and government stakeholders in order to deliver a successful and equitable energy transition.
