Assessing California Electricity Markets

Analysis Group submitted two expert reports in a case before the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles County on the structure of California electricity markets and on certain transactions in the California electricity marketplace on behalf of several municipal-owned utilities. A team, led by Principal Eric Korman, provided support. The case, which has now settled, involved issues of bilateral versus pooled markets, risk sharing, and settlement.
