Segmentation and Contracting Strategy

In several assignments developing segmentation and contracting strategies for its clients, Analysis Group has applied rigorous quantitative analyses to address issues and dynamics in specific market segments. These assignments have included analysis of key account/payer share; volume and formulary performance data; segmentation of key accounts; detailed competitive assessments that identify triggers for changes to contract strategy with new entrants; and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis of specific contracts. In the course of these engagements, we often develop and deliver customized computer models to support decision-making -- including models that enable comparisons of access and share performance (by account, on regional or national levels), assessment of contract ROI, potential exposure associated with risk-sharing contracts under different contract terms, and detailed impacts of the MMA legislation.
