Government & Corporate Investigations
Analysis Group has supported clients involved in investigations undertaken by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, and other federal and state government agencies. Our role has included evaluating economic data, market definition, and other competitive issues; assisting in developing appropriate settlement models; and estimating exposure under various assumptions.
Our experience assisting clients in these matters includes major antitrust investigations in the United States and European Union, enforcement actions involving allegations of financial fraud, damages assessments related to claims of bribery and foreign kickbacks in the global pharmaceutical industry, and analyses of intercompany transactions allegedly undertaken for the sole purpose of minimizing taxes. We often collaborate with leading academics and specialized industry experts to help evaluate liability and damages issues.
