Economic and Environmental Impacts of Energy Infrastructure

Analysis Group has supported the proposal and development of numerous large-scale energy infrastructure projects. For example, we conducted analyses of the economic and environmental impacts of project alternatives, using various forms of system production cost modeling, emissions, and needs analyses; facilitated community and regulatory interactions; developed comprehensive analytic/policy reports for use in regulatory proceedings; and offered expert testimony. Our analyses led to published reports related to the difficulties and best practices in energy infrastructure siting, and to the role of infrastructure growth in the pursuit of energy reliability, security, and environmental and market-development goals.
