Eutelsat Communications SA Acquisition of OneWeb Holdings Limited

Analysis Group was retained on behalf of geostationary satellite operator Eutelsat Communications SA (Eutelsat) to provide economic analysis in connection with its proposed acquisition of low Earth orbit satellite operator OneWeb Holdings Limited (OneWeb). Analysis Group supported counsel for Eutelsat throughout the regulatory review of the merger in the EU, the UK, Mexico, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.

An Analysis Group team led by Managing Principal Josh White conducted a detailed competitive assessment of the merger, considering a range of possible market segmentations based on service offerings and satellite frequency band types across all relevant geographic dimensions. The transaction received unconditional clearance in all jurisdictions.
