Minnesota Electric Vehicle Proceeding

Analysis Group was retained to assist Xcel Energy with a proposal to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission for approval of a public network of 730 new electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging stations. A team led by Vice President Joseph Cavicchi supported academic affiliate Erich Muehlegger, who submitted written testimony that evaluated how increased charging infrastructure could impact consumers’ economic incentives to adopt EVs. Xcel withdrew its proceedings for reasons unrelated to AG’s work.
