Summary of Experience
Professor Riddiough is best known for his work on real options, mortgage pricing and strategy, real estate investment trusts, and land use regulation. He has served as an expert in numerous real estate-related matters in which he has, for example, testified on appraisal and the value of distressed mortgages. He currently serves on the board of directors of several organizations, including ArCap REIT, Inc., EquiBase Capital Partners, and the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association. He is also a managing editor of Real Estate Finance. Professor Riddiough is the past recipient of the best dissertation and best paper awards in Real Estate Economics, and is a fellow at the Homer Hoyt Institute for Advanced Studies as well as the Real Estate Research Institute. He has served as a consultant for numerous organizations, including HUD, GMAC, Wells Fargo, CB Commercial, Equitable Life Assurance, and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. He teaches courses in real estate finance, real estate capital markets, and microeconomics. Professor Riddiough has published more than 40 scholarly articles.
