At the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act Anniversary Conference, marking 50 years since the passage of the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act, Managing Principal Rebecca Kirk Fair, Vice President Olga Kozlova Guglielmi, and Associate Laurianne Despeghel will present their coauthored forthcoming article, “Shifting the Burden: Analyzing the Rise, Fall, and Future of the 2025 HSR Overhaul Through a Transatlantic Lens.” The article examines the evolution and future of the 2025 HSR premerger notification form, drawing comparisons with the EU’s more front-loaded merger review process.
Analysis Group academic affiliates John Mayo and Edward Snyder will also present at the conference. Professor Mayo will provide opening remarks and present on “Estimating the Willingness to Pay to Avoid Antitrust Scrutiny.” Professor Snyder will present on “The 2023 Merger Guidelines and High-Tech Merger Enforcement: A Null Result.”
