At the 15th Annual Conference of the American Society of Health Economists (ASHEcon), Maria Polyakova will receive the Kate Ho ASHEcon Medal, which is awarded to an early-career economist who has made significant contributions to the field of health economics. Professor Polyakova is an associate professor of Health Policy at Stanford School of Medicine and an associate professor (by courtesy) of Economics at Stanford University. Her research spans many areas of health economics, including health insurance, health care labor markets, and individual decision making in health and health care.
