Senior Data Scientists Intekhab Hossain and Esteban León will present “Generative AI for Disease Modeling: Driving Evidence-Based Medicine Forward” at the 2026 INFORMS Annual Meeting, as part of the Health Applications Society session “Mathematical Modeling for Health Decisions.”
The presentation will introduce DECODE (Dynamic Evaluation of Cardiometabolic Obesity DiseasE), Analysis Group’s generative AI framework for simulating the joint, long-term progression of cardiometabolic conditions. The presenters will discuss DECODE’s flexible modeling approach, which tailors model architectures to distinct research questions in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE). They will also outline how its synthetic patient trajectories are validated and how the framework can simulate counterfactual intervention scenarios.
