Ms. Giacin is a corporate governance and compliance expert with decades of experience advising organizations on whistleblower programs, enterprise risk and crisis management, corporate internal investigations, and ethics and compliance initiatives. She currently serves as an industry consultant, guiding senior leadership on compliance investigations and related analytics, governance frameworks, and risk-tracking systems designed to enhance transparency and stakeholder engagement. Previously, Ms. Giacin was an executive at General Electric and led the company’s Global Ombuds and Open Reporting Programs. In this role, she managed global efforts to promote ethical and safe conduct, ensure legal compliance, and mitigate reputational and operational risks. She oversaw a network of more than 600 ombuds serving hundreds of thousands of employees worldwide and played a key role in resolving thousands of compliance matters annually, involving policies such as fair employment, controllership, conflicts of interest, and environmental health and safety.
