Mr. Dougherty specializes in the application of economic and financial analyses to questions arising in complex ERISA and securities and finance litigation. His litigation and advisory experience includes analyses of municipal bonds, interest rate swaps, residential mortgage-backed securities, hedge funds, and mutual funds. On ERISA-related matters, Mr. Dougherty has conducted quantitative analyses of 401(k) plan investment management and recordkeeping fees, investment option performance, and the appropriateness of selected investment options. His securities and finance experience includes matters related to allegations of breach of fiduciary duty and securities fraud. Mr. Dougherty has supported experts and assisted clients in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, expert report preparation, deposition testimony, and motion and trial preparation.
