Dr. Klimek is a health economist with experience in complex health care litigation matters and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). His litigation experience includes work on a variety of matters in the health care sector, including analyses related to health care utilization, reimbursement, and the estimation of economic damages, as well as matters involving the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute. He has supported expert witnesses through the preparation of expert reports and related materials, and assisted counsel with discovery and case strategy. In addition to his litigation work, Dr. Klimek has conducted HEOR studies assessing real-world effectiveness, health care resource use, and costs of pharmaceutical therapies across multiple disease areas. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as The American Journal of Managed Care, Advances in Therapy, and Pulmonary Therapy.
