Mr. LaManna specializes in applying principles of finance and economics in complex business disputes and the quantification of damages. He has managed projects across a broad range of matters involving intellectual property, ERISA, false advertising, and breach of contract. Mr. LaManna’s litigation experience in patent infringement matters includes the evaluation of reasonable royalties and lost profits across a range of industries, including medical devices, media, enterprise software, and industrial food processing equipment. His experience in ERISA-related matters includes the evaluation of 401(k) plan investment management and recordkeeping fees, investment option performance, and the prudence of selected investment options. Additionally, Mr. LaManna has analyzed target date funds, stable value funds, and managed account products. Mr. LaManna has also worked on numerous class certification matters involving allegations of false advertising in the beverage, pharmaceutical, and bedding industries. He has assisted in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, expert reports, depositions, and trial.
