Mr. Neelakantan specializes in the application of financial theory to questions arising in valuation, bankruptcy, and insolvency matters, as well as complex securities disputes. His litigation and advisory experience includes analyzing private equity (PE) value creation strategies, assessing shareholder damages related to leveraged buyout and M&A transactions, and evaluating the terms of exit financing in a large municipal bankruptcy. Mr. Neelakantan has experience conducting valuation analyses across a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, media, and technology. He has supported leading industry and academic experts across various phases of litigation, including mediation, expert reports, deposition, and trial. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Mr. Neelakantan worked at BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory group, advising financial institutions on the valuation and risk assessment of their structured credit portfolios, regulatory stress testing, and balance sheet optimization.
