Summary of Experience
Mr. McCoy specializes in applying data analysis techniques to complex corporate strategy, litigation, and arbitration matters, primarily in the health care sector. He supports academic experts in assessing issues of economic causation and damages in litigation. Mr. McCoy also supports industry experts in quantifying damages and opining on customary practice in breach-of-contract disputes in international arbitration. He has overseen the development and analysis of large transaction and claims databases across a wide range of matters involving the Hatch-Waxman Act, False Claims Act, and Controlled Substances Act.
In addition, Mr. McCoy has designed and built real-time suspicious order monitoring systems, along with accompanying analytical frameworks and visualizations, for pharmaceutical distributors and pharmacy chains. He has also worked with cross-functional client teams to create and maintain the technical infrastructure supporting projects related to controlled substance distribution, government investigations, and litigation.
