Summer Analyst Intern
The summer analyst intern position is an entry-level role that introduces you to the world of economic consulting. Summer analysts work on complex business problems within an inclusive and collaborative environment. They are assigned to work on case teams to experience the role of an analyst, and may work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries.
Generalist analyst interns have opportunities to work on litigation, regulatory, M&A, and other legal-related matters with Analysis Group colleagues, professors from leading institutions, counsel from premier law firms, and corporate and government clients. Health care analyst interns – who are staffed to our HEOR, Epidemiology & Market Access practice – develop experience in life science fields and have opportunities to work closely with our in-house health care experts and with teams from leading pharmaceutical companies.
Analysis Group fosters an academically oriented work environment with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration across multiple areas of expertise. Analytical and Coding Skills Coursework: We provide interns with extensive training in the core analytical skills critical to their case work. This coursework strengthens analysts’ understanding of the firm’s best practices in Excel and in SAS, Stata, R, VBA, and Python coding.
Analysis Group University (AGU): Our interns can access our centralized online learning portal and view hundreds of training videos, presentations, and other targeted training content on demand. Technical and nontechnical trainings are available.

We choose a case team for every summer analyst intern when they join us. However, our full-time analysts engage in Analysis Group’s internal labor market, which allows them to choose their case work based on their interests. Summer analyst interns may work on multiple cases during their summers with us.
