How were your first few weeks or months at Analysis Group?
Having previously interned at Analysis Group, my first few weeks felt like a natural transition back into a familiar role. I was able to reconnect with colleagues I had worked with before while also meeting new team members and expanding my network. A highlight was the orientation in Boston, which offered great exposure to the strong, collaborative culture at AG and allowed me to connect with peers from across our global offices.
What got you interested in health care consulting?
Studying bioengineering in undergrad sparked my interest in health care and confirmed that I wanted to work in a field that could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Health care consulting stood out to me because it offered the chance to work on a wide variety of projects across different disease areas, allowing me to contribute to impactful work that reaches many patients.
What is it like to work on a case team? What types of cases have you worked on?
Every case team at Analysis Group is unique, with team members bringing a diverse mix of skill sets, but the common theme is a strong sense of collaboration. Everyone is willing to step in and support one another based on the team’s needs. Throughout my time at AG, I’ve worked on various health economics and outcomes research projects using a range of data sources, including claims databases and electronic medical records, across different disease areas, including prostate cancer, blood cancer, and depression.
What opportunities for growth and learning have you found at AG?
At Analysis Group, growth comes in many forms. Whether it's building technical expertise, learning about new disease areas, or taking on more responsibility within case teams, each new project is an opportunity to expand your knowledge and step outside of your comfort zone. What makes it even more rewarding is how supportive your colleagues are, as they actively encourage and empower you to take on larger roles within your case team.
How would you describe the atmosphere in your office?
The atmosphere in the office is friendly, collaborative, and driven by a strong culture of support. While we all work hard, it’s the small things, like colleagues regularly taking time to connect over lunch, that make the environment feel welcoming and close-knit.
What are your favorite activities/hobbies outside of work?
Many of my hobbies outside of work revolve around sports. I play hockey with friends a few nights a week as a way to unwind and stay active. Even with a busy schedule, I try to stay involved in coaching football at a local high school, which I find incredibly rewarding.
