Principal Paul Hibbard Discusses Landmark Climate Impact Study in NYISO Video Series

In Episode 4 of the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) video series Grid of the Future, Principal Paul Hibbard discusses his work on a landmark climate impact study, Climate Change Impact and Resilience Study – Phase II: An Assessment of Climate Change Impacts on Power System Reliability in New York State. The Analysis Group study was a long-term examination of the ways climate change and clean energy policies could impact New York’s power grid by 2040. In the video, Mr. Hibbard notes the dramatic changes required to ensure the reliability of a fully decarbonized electrical power system. The video also features commentary from NYISO and GridWise executives.
