Analysis Group Summer Program Again Recognized as a Top Consulting Internship

November 3, 2025

Analysis Group is proud to once again be ranked sixth among Vault’s top consulting internships, maintaining a top 10 position for the second consecutive year. The firm also placed twelfth in Data Analytics and was recognized across six Quality of Life categories, including Overall Inclusion, LGBTQ+ Inclusion, and People of Color, reflecting the firm’s ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive workplace.

Vault’s rankings are based on survey feedback from Analysis Group’s 2025 summer interns, who evaluated their experiences across criteria such as company culture, professional development, compensation, and diversity.

Analysis Group summer interns contribute to case work from day one, taking on analyst-level assignments in economic, financial, and data-driven analysis. They collaborate with academic experts; use coding tools such as SAS, R, and Stata; and contribute to meaningful client work while benefiting from mentorship and training opportunities that mirror the experience of full-time consultants.

The following excerpts were provided in support of Analysis Group’s rankings.

Interns described their work as substantive and purpose driven, offering the opportunity to apply analytical skills and contribute to evidence-based findings:

  • “The work is intellectually engaging and meaningful – digging into real-world clinical and claims data to uncover insights that can influence important healthcare decisions.”
  • “The nature of the internship is based on solving problems and approaching real-world questions with a background in data.”

The program’s structure balances challenge and support, enabling interns to develop their skills in a professional environment:

  • “The team makes a clear effort to build an inclusive culture, whether through project collaboration, social events, or day-to-day interactions. It’s been a big part of what’s made this experience so positive – knowing that I’m seen, heard, and respected as both a team member and an individual.”
  • “The environment feels inclusive, respectful, and genuinely welcoming – people are not only open to different perspectives, but they actively value the diversity of backgrounds and experiences that each person brings to the table.”

Inclusion remains a cornerstone of the internship experience, strengthened by an open feedback culture and opportunities to connect with colleagues across backgrounds:

  • “AG is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. This commitment is demonstrated through well-established affinity groups and ally networks, a culture grounded in feedback and honesty, an annual CEO address, and other social initiatives that celebrate the diverse people who work at AG.”
  • “The firm makes a clear effort to build an inclusive environment – not just in formal ways, like affinity groups and DE&I events, but also in the everyday culture of collaboration and openness.”

Interns also highlighted the collegial atmosphere:

  • “Character is praised as much as intelligence at Analysis Group – being a team player and contributing to a culture of kindness is noticed and appreciated.”
  • “People are respectful of time, and there’s no expectation to be online around the clock. The environment is collaborative, curious, and positive.”

Finally, training and mentorship continue to define the program’s value:

  • “The training and mentoring received here is honestly the highlight of the internship experience.”
  • “One of the best aspects of the internship is that, from the start, you are getting involved in real case work. The work you do matters and actively contributes to the firm’s success.”

These reflections illustrate Analysis Group’s continued dedication to offering an internship that blends impactful analytical work with professional growth and a culture rooted in respect, mentorship, and inclusion.
