Ms. Hauert is a regulatory expert who specializes in the electric and water utility industries. She has served as an expert witness in rate cases and provided expert testimony for matters before the Arizona Corporation Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. In her role at Hauert Consulting, Ms. Hauert draws on her nearly two decades of utility experience to provide strategic consulting services to regulated utilities, including preparing rate cases and rate design, cost-of-service studies, and surcharges. She previously served as vice president of rates and revenues at Arizona Water Company, where she led a $90 million cost recovery strategy and facilitated the acquisition of three small water utilities. Ms. Hauert also held roles at Arizona Public Service, where she oversaw a $3 billion cost recovery strategy and developed a multiyear corporate strategic playbook. She is currently the executive director of the Water Utilities Association of Arizona.
