Dr. Martins is an applied health economist who specializes in real-world evidence (RWE) generation and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). His experience includes the design and execution of primary data research studies, including cross-sectional and prospective longitudinal surveys, medical chart-review studies, and qualitative research. His experience also encompasses the analysis of both clinical trial data and real-world databases (including health insurance claims and electronic medical records), as well as indirect treatment comparisons. Dr. Martins has contributed to studies across a wide range of disease areas, including dermatology, immunology, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, and cardiovascular diseases. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and presented at clinical and economic research conferences.
