Summary of Experience

Ms. Sheikh consults on economic analyses and the application of statistics in complex litigation matters related to medical claims, commercial disputes, class certification, antitrust, and breach of contract issues. She has assisted clients and supported experts in the preparation of reports, testimony, and related analyses in a number of cases in these areas. Ms. Sheikh has analyzed large datasets and assessed damages models in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, health care, agriculture, labor and employment, and advertising.

Ms. Sheikh’s work has spanned managed care, infectious diseases, reproductive health, critical care, cardiology, neurology, and orthopedic surgery. She has extensively published and presented on her work, and previously held research positions at the University of California, Berkeley; Stanford University; and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Ms. Sheikh was the director of biostatistics in strategic management of a health care system, where she worked on business development and designed and implemented strategic initiatives and research related to improving quality of care, access to care, and the patient experience. She was formerly a dedicated analytics consultant for a Fortune 100 client.
