Dr. Chen is an epidemiologist with broad experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, nephrology, rheumatology, cardiology, and infectious diseases. He specializes in using both quantitative and qualitative methods to assess clinical and economic burdens of various health conditions and diseases and to compare clinical effectiveness, safety, and economic value across different treatments. Dr. Chen’s work includes real-world evidence (RWE) generation using administrative claims and electronic health records, post-hoc analysis of clinical trial data, systematic literature review and network meta-analysis, and health economic modeling. His recent projects supported regulatory submissions of COVID-19 treatments in multiple regions. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at clinical and economic conferences.
