Dr. Rajani specializes in the application of microeconomics, econometrics, and statistics to complex litigation matters in the areas of antitrust and competition. Her antitrust work includes both civil and criminal litigation across a variety of industries, including agriculture, digital platforms, energy, telecommunications, health care, and pharmaceuticals. In criminal antitrust litigations, Dr. Rajani has analyzed economic issues around alleged price-fixing and has supported clients and experts through fact discovery, provided consulting support to attorneys through trial, and helped experts prepare for trial testimony. In civil antitrust litigations, she specializes in working on complex, data-intensive litigation matters involving class certification, liability, and damages stemming from allegations of price-fixing, monopoly, and monopsony. Dr. Rajani has analyzed economic issues pertaining to allegations of attempted monopsonization in agricultural industries, attempted monopolization of digital platforms, and alleged manipulation of pricing benchmarks in energy markets. She has also worked on labor and employment, commercial dispute, and privacy and data breach matters. Dr Rajani’s writings have been published in Economic Inquiry, Global Competition Review’s Merger Remedies Guide, and Law360.
