Analysis Group Experts Win Two 2026 Concurrences Antitrust Writing Awards

March 25, 2026

Analysis Group proudly congratulates seven of its competition experts, authors of two articles that won the jury awards in their respective categories at the 2026 Concurrences Antitrust Writing Awards.

The Relationship Between Pricing Transparency and Price Competition in the US Health Care Industry” was named best business article in the General Economics category. Coauthored by Analysis Group Manager Juan Carvajal, Vice President Christopher Ody, and affiliate Christopher Whaley of Brown University, the article detailed pricing transparency initiatives enacted to help combat rising prices in US health care. The authors summarize federal and state legislative efforts, consider the economic benefits and drawbacks of each, and examine the empirical evidence on their effects. They conclude that the overall effect of these regulations has been ambiguous, but that they are most effective when combined with incentives for insured patients to engage in price shopping. “The Relationship Between Pricing Transparency and Price Competition in the US Health Care Industry” was originally published by the American Bar Association (ABA) Antitrust Law Section.

Recent Developments in Labor Market Antitrust Enforcement in the United States, Europe, Canada, and China” won the award for best business article in the Concerted Practices category. In the article, Analysis Group Managing Principal Jee-Yeon Lehmann, Manager Olivia Althans, and Vice Presidents Yeseul Hyun and Federico Mantovanelli survey recent developments in labor market antitrust enforcement and litigation around the world and assess the current status of these efforts. They provide a detailed perspective on how such enforcement efforts are unfolding in different jurisdictions and how varying approaches in North America, Europe, and Asia may continue to evolve in the future. “Recent Developments in Labor Market Antitrust Enforcement in the United States, Europe, Canada, and China” was originally published by the ABA Antitrust Law Section.
