Summary of Experience

Dr. Tewfik specializes in the application of statistical analysis and economic theory to complex litigation matters in finance, commercial disputes, and in damages calculation. She has extensive experience analyzing large datasets using statistical techniques to identify high-frequency trading strategies in futures markets. Dr. Tewfik’s areas of expertise include the econometric analysis of alleged market price and benchmark interest rate manipulation, the selection of suitable benchmark interest rates for residential mortgage-backed securities, and the evaluation of damages related to health costs recovery. She has also assisted in government investigations regarding manipulative trading practices. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Tewfik taught macroeconomics at the University of Toronto.
