Growing Careers at Analysis Group
At Analysis Group, every recruitment is more than a hire – it’s the beginning of a long-term partnership. We believe that when people thrive, organizations do too. That’s why we invest in the development, growth, and success of everyone who joins our team. And that leads to employee longevity, which fuels depth of shared knowledge, experience, and institutional wisdom.
When you join Analysis Group, you become part of a collaborative team that answers complex questions alongside the top experts in their fields. And every member of that team is deeply invested in helping you succeed. Many of our team members start their journeys with us as interns, and we’re proud that 25% of our senior consultants began their careers as analysts, while 50% started as associates. From day one, you’ll benefit from hands-on learning, mentorship, and tailored development programs designed to accelerate your career.
Onboarding and Training
Every new hire begins their career at Analysis Group with AG Foundations, our signature firm-wide onboarding and training program designed to build the skills and connections you need to thrive. During your first week with the firm, you’ll learn by doing. Through immersive exercises modeled on real case scenarios, you’ll practice foundational skills in qualitative research, data analysis, quality control, critical thinking, and communication, while receiving feedback and coaching from experienced colleagues. After your first week, technical labs build proficiency in key tools, while presentations from senior staff offer insight into AG’s work, culture, and career paths.
Fostering community is also an important part of the new hire experience. At AG Orientation, new hires from across the firm come together to make connections and develop a broader understanding of life at AG. Support doesn’t end when formal training does: You’ll also be paired with a peer mentor and advisor who provide ongoing guidance, perspective, and support as you navigate the firm and continue to grow.
Ongoing Career Development
Analysts in their second year participate in a professional development program focused on career planning. We also support analysts pursuing advanced degrees through graduate school admissions workshops and our Sponsored Return Offer program, which enables select analysts to return as associates after completing graduate studies.
Associates benefit from continuous growth opportunities, including writing workshops and a cross-office program designed to strengthen case team management skills. For those with advanced degrees, this is a place where academic insight meets real-world impact – in antitrust, finance, health care, and beyond.
Firm Culture
Our culture is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. Whether you’re launching your career or bringing academic experience to the firm, we offer a dynamic, inclusive environment where you can build meaningful relationships and lay the groundwork for your career.
