Summary of Experience

Mr. Cloutier is a health economist specializing in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). He has conducted research on a diverse range of disease and therapeutic areas, including dermatology, hematology, immunology, nephrology, oncology, psychiatry, and hereditary and rare diseases. His areas of expertise in HEOR include large database and medical claims analyses, direct medical and indirect productivity costs of disease, safety profiles, real-world treatment patterns, clinical effectiveness, medication compliance, and medical chart reviews.

Mr. Cloutier’s research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry. This research has also been presented at dozens of international conferences, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has also served as a peer reviewer for several journals, including JAMA.

In addition to his HEOR experience, Mr. Cloutier has also worked extensively on high-profile litigation cases in which he coauthored reports or supported other experts. His recent work in the litigation area includes estimations of health care damages and economic analyses of labor and employment issues.
