Dr. Lehmann applies microeconomics, econometrics, and statistical methods to complex litigation and government investigations involving antitrust and competition, labor and employment, health care, higher education, commercial disputes, and data breach and privacy matters. She has testified and submitted expert reports on class certification, merits, damages, causation, valuation, and statistical issues on behalf of companies, institutions, and the US Department of Justice (DOJ).

Dr. Lehmann has evaluated market definition, market power, competitive dynamics, class certification, liability, and damages in cases involving alleged price-fixing, wage-fixing, market allocation, no-poach agreements, non-compete restrictions, monopolization, monopsonization, and other anticompetitive conduct in the health care, pharmaceutical, media, technology, retail, manufacturing, food and agriculture, finance, education, and other industries. Beyond antitrust, she has assessed economic harm in matters involving alleged data breaches and privacy violations, unfair business practices, fraud, breach of contract, false advertising, and other commercial disputes, analyzing overcharges, lost compensation, business valuation, lost economic value, and classwide injury and damages. She has deep knowledge of compensation, recruiting, and other human resources data from employment matters involving alleged discrimination, worker misclassification, wage-and-hour violations, and breach of non-compete agreements. In higher education, she has extensive experience with litigation and investigations involving university admissions, hiring, and compensation practices.

Dr. Lehmann has also served extensively as a consulting expert, supporting epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and regulatory, scientific, and commercialization experts in analyzing scientific, clinical trial, registry, claims, adverse-event, and financial data to assess liability, damages, causation, and harm in commercial, product liability, patent, and trade secret disputes.
